When using offline die-cutting, inaccurate die-cutting often occurs, which may even result in a large number of labels being scrapped, and it also requires stopping the machine for adjustment. If the inspector is not well-versed in die-cutting standards, printing costs may also increase. In addition, during the printing of certain adhesive labels (especially some small-area labels), the labels often stick together during die-cutting and waste removal processing, which is one of the main causes of printing material waste. It is recommended to use the following methods to address the issue:
1. Adjust the pressure of the die-cutting plate by placing a backing under the die-cutting base plate, ensuring that the pressure is uniform and the depth of the die-cut indentation is consistent.
2. Increase the speed of die-cutting waste removal.
3. When designing labels, consider slightly increasing the label area and avoid overly complex shapes; use a reasonable arrangement.
4. Appropriately lower the temperature in the storage and printing workshops for adhesive materials to prevent the adhesive on the release paper from losing viscosity.
5. Replace die-cutting blades that have been used for a long time and whose edges have become dull, or place sponges between the die-cutting plate and the blade, or remake the die-cutting plate.
